9.PROJECT PROFILE
Objective:
Recovery of Continental Glaciers Areas , by PRO Physical Recovery Operations
Selective Clouds Seeding + Ice preservation
The Selective Clouds seed with (liquid Nitrogen or AgI) over the
blank areas will be carried out after a permanent pursuit in Real Time of
prevailing conditions, looking to increase the natural
efficiency of solid phase precipitation .
The Ice Preservation has to be carried out in sure growth areas of the glacier,
favorable for their coat conditions and security, only where possible with:
1) recirculation of a percentage of water thaw,
2) use of infrared transparent blankets to preserv ice around isotherm 0°C,
3) superficially excuse liquid nitrogen to preserv ice phase..
The realization of such PRO is justified because humanity any time lights
a fuel, increase Planet Enthropy. By
sustaintability principles these increases would require a
effort in order to reduce it and preserve life, nonexistent to the
date in natural degraded areas as Continental Glaciers. In Perú Snowed Andes
are the Natural Zonal Thermal Radiator.
The Continental Glaciers are a commom benefit, and so hidrologycal
patrimony of the States. They have a temper influence in the local climate. The
Generating Companies of Energy and of Drinkable Water that use their
waters will commit to contribute part of the requirements of the local PRO.
The Environmental Instrumentation required for the scientific realization of the PhRO will be matter of
ITC. and managed coordinately with CONCYTEC, Departments
of Physics, Geophysics, Electronic and Environmental Engineering., in their
initial stage. You can point out: Networkstations, LIDAR, automatic
Meteorological Stations, Ice Infrared Sensors, aerostats, airships.
The instrumentation and generation of Liquid Nitrogen, requires
the financing and installation of the Systems for liquid air, in
Select Near Glaciers Communities, committed for the effective realization of the PRO.
The colateral benefits for the community will be:
1) Obtain a Solar energy generation plant
2) To be able to preserve genetic samples in neuter atmospheres
3) Low temperature Treatment of farm tools.
Communities should be part of the project Huascarán to reduce
communication costs and to contemplate this aspect inside the functions of the
team, they will have the supervision of ONG.s and appropriate Scientist (Universities,
Institutes, by Network)
The realization of the PRO requires the Institution for the specific
environmental function which is the effective work for Recovering Andes
Glaciers Areas .
